Do lash extensions ruin your natural lashes?
Lash extension do NOT ruin your natural lashes if applied and removed correctly. Be sure not to rub your eyes or tug or pull on your extensions as this can cause loss and even damage to your natural lashes
How long do lash extensions last?
Lash extensions last a full growth cycle of natural eyelashes, typically six to eight weeks (with regular top ups/ infill). Each individual's lash growth cycle varies, the condition of your natural lashes and how you look after your extensions play a huge part in how long they last. So the healthier your natural lashes are the better the lash extensions hold and are more likely to last!
How long does the process take?
This varies with the type of set you choose and how full your natural lashes are. Full set can take up to 3 hours, depending on how full you want them
What is the difference between a Classic, Hybrid and Volume set?
Classic lashes
Single, individual eyelash extensions applied to one natural lash at a time. A natural and defined set of lashes, perfect for first-timers, or for those who want to look like they have beautiful, long and curlier lashes naturally
Hybrid lashes
A mix of both classic lashes and volume fans
Volume lashes
Fans of lashes from 2D up to 6D are hand-made and applied to one natural lash at a time for a more dramatic, voluminous look. If two eyelash extensions are applied to one natural lash, it’s described as 2D. If three eyelash extensions are applied to one natural eyelash, then it’s described as 3D and so on
What is a lash infill?
This is the process of replacing the lash extensions which have fallen off with new lashes in order to maintain a fresh and full lash set. (Please note I do not fill other techs work I can however do a removal & full set)
How often should I have Infills?
Your lashes may require a top up within two weeks after your initial appointment. Please book your infill appointment in advance, in order to secure an slot, as anything after 3 weeks will be considered a full set. Please kindly note, you must have at least 40% of the lash extensions remaining, in order to qualify for infills
Do you provide a patch tests?
Please note a patch test is not included within your appointment, however if you are concerned and would like to request a patch test please contact me and I am happy to fit you in. By agreeing to proceed with your appointment without a patch test you are taking full responsibility for any allergic reactions that may occur after the appointment and The Lash Girl will NOT be held responsible in any way
